Human-Machine Interface (HMI)

The ABM ASTROBLAST 3P is equipped with a latest-generation 7-inch color touchscreen, designed for intensive industrial use.
Its clear, intuitive and ergonomic graphical interface allows the operator to parameterize, control and supervise the entire sandblasting cycle in real time.

Thanks to its extensive connectivity, the HMI can be accessed remotely from smartphone, tablet or PC, facilitating maintenance, diagnosis and production monitoring.
Industry 4.0 compatible, it communicates via the Modbus TCP and MQTT protocols, ensuring smooth integration into automated or robotic lines.

The ABM 1000 blast cabinet is a high-performance industrial solution specially developed for medium to large series productions, where precision, repeatability and part protection are essential. It is designed to meet the needs of both the processing of regularly shaped parts and that of components with complex or amorphous geometries, which are often difficult to stabilize during sandblasting or bead blasting.

One of the main challenges of surface treatment is very small or very light parts, which are susceptible to projection, damage or poor treatment. The ABM 1000 provides an effective response to this problem thanks to a system of interchangeable baskets, specifically designed to cover a wide dimensional range. This allows for reliable processing of parts ranging from 350 microns to 50 mm, without loss of control or deterioration.

The optimized geometry of the sandblasting baskets plays a key role in the quality of the final result. It greatly limits shocks between parts during the processing cycle, ensuring that the mechanical and aesthetic integrity of components is preserved , even during prolonged or intensive cycles.

The operation of the machine has been designed to be both simple and flexible. Once the parts have been inserted into the basket, the operator can choose to work with a closed or open basket, depending on the nature of the parts and the desired result. The process is then started via an intuitive control screen, allowing the selection or creation of custom blasting recipes. The embedded software offers a high degree of freedom of configuration in order to precisely adapt the processing to the requirements of each application.

The ABM 1000 booth is particularly suitable for processing components such as watch bracelets and pushers, oscillating weights, electrical connectors, as well as various steel or rubber parts, in a diameter range between 350 microns and 5 cm. It also stands out for its total compatibility with all the sandblasting aggregates available on the market, thus offering great versatility of use depending on the materials and finishes sought.

The automatic system is equipped with a 7-inch color touchscreen control panel (standard), which can also be accessed via smartphone, tablet and PC.
Designed for Industry 4.0, it is compatible with the main communication protocols: Modbus TCP and MQTT, allowing full integration into connected industrial environments.
