Description

Tumble Shot Blasting Machine GS16

The GS 16 tumble shot blasting machine has a belt width of 1,600 mm. It is a high-capacity machine, designed for intensive processing of heavy or bulky bulk parts.

The dimensions of the shot blasting chamber no longer allow for the use of a rubber belt; manganese steel is essential to withstand the mass of the parts to be treated and the abrasive jet. Furthermore, steel allows for the treatment of parts with temperatures above 80 degrees, which is the critical temperature for rubber.

Typical Specifications of the GS16 Tumble Shot Blasting Machine

Here are the technical specifications for the Technoblast GS 16 bulk shot blasting machine

  • Load Capacity: Between 1,500 kg and 2,500 kg depending on options
  • Usable Volume: Approximately 900 to 1,500 liters.
  • Maximum Part Weight: 250 kg
  • Turbines: Equipped with 2 high-power turbines (between 7.5 kW and 22 kW each) to cover the entire 1.6m belt width.
  • Part Dimensions: Can accept individual parts up to 250-400 kg with a maximum diagonal of approximately 600 to 700 mm.
  • Shot: Angular or spherical stainless steel shot, angular or spherical steel shot.

Advantages of the 160 cm Width

  1. Massive Productivity: Ideal for foundries and forges that need to process several tons per hour.
  2. Continuous Throughput Possible: In some cases, these machines are configured for continuous flow (the belt is no longer a closed drum but a tunnel), allowing for the processing of longer parts.
  3. Thermal Resistance: With manganese steel treads, it accepts parts still hot from heat treatments (between 80°C – 160°C).

Options

  • Soundproofing: A 1.6m wide machine with a steel belt generates a noise level between 70 and 90 dB depending on the shot blasting intensity. A soundproofed cabin can be installed.
  • Loading System: An automatic or semi-automatic loading system with a tilting mechanism that allows the shot blasting machine to be fed via other machines.
  • Remote Assistance: Monitoring of diagnostic sensors allows for remote intervention to schedule maintenance and detect anomalies.
  • Customizations: Addition of surveillance cameras, mass reading system.
